Trifid Software
TRIFID is a point-of-sale and inventory management system for retail, wholesale, the food service industry, and other businesses. It supports sales via both traditional and touchscreen interfaces, barcode processing, inventory management, multi-store operations, pricing schemes, and related document tracking.
Starting with version 7.41 for the 2024 fiscal year, TRIFID can be integrated with the Comgate payment terminal. The cashier selects card payment directly when finalizing the receipt, and the payment is processed through the connected terminal. There is no need to enter the amount separately on another device, and the system also supports a combination of card and cash payments.
The terminal can also be used with custom receipt printing disabled, in which case the transaction receipt is printed by the cash register printer. TRIFID offers both character-based and graphical interfaces, and the integration can be configured for standard cash registers as well as touchscreen point-of-sale systems.
The TRIFID and Comgate integration is ideal for retail stores and food service establishments that want to manage card payments directly from their POS system. Staff can process receipts more quickly, combine different payment methods, and avoid having to enter payment details separately on the terminal.
