Promotions and guarantees
The promotional offer for the Easy and Profi pricing plans applies to transaction fees for EU-issued consumer debit and credit cards, up to a total transaction volume of CZK 1,000,000 within the first three months after the first transaction following contract signing. For the first six calendar months from signing the contract, card payment fees are free up to CZK 50,000 per month, as well as monthly fees for operating the payment gateway or terminal rental. From the seventh month, the Easy plan will be activated for the client. For card payments exceeding CZK 50,000 per month and for other payment methods, a flat fee of 1% + EUR 0 applies. The Start plan is part of the Czechia Pays by Card project, an initiative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and the Visa and Mastercard payment schemes.
We guarantee that Comgate offers the best price for its services. By “best price,” we mean a price lower than the merchant’s current actual costs for a comparable payment service over a selected period. The comparison is based on the total costs across the client’s entire portfolio of merchant locations and includes all payment transactions.

Four ways to set a tip
The tip function can be set up on the payment terminal. There are four settings to choose from:
Input of the total amount spent and then the amount including the tip. In this case, the operator enters the spending amount into the terminal, for example CZK 380, and then the total amount including tip, for example CZK 450.
The second option is for the paying customer to enter the tip on the payment terminal display, where they will have the option of 10%, 15% or 20%.
The other option is similar to the previous one, except that the paying customer will choose between tipping values of 5%, 10% or 15%.
Customer-entered tip based on your requirements – it is possible to set three custom percentage values from which the customer can choose during payment.
Percentage-based tipping options can be combined with entering the total amount. This means that even if the terminal offers the customer a tipping selection, the staff can, at the customer’s request, manually enter a different tip by inputting the total amount.
