Tritius
Tritius is a cloud-based library system for public, academic, school, and specialized libraries, as well as museums and archives. It helps manage the catalog, patrons, loans, reservations, overdue notices, registrations, and other library processes. It also includes a web catalog through which patrons can perform selected tasks remotely.
The Tritius web catalog can be integrated with the Comgate payment gateway. Readers can then pay outstanding fees online—such as for overdue notices—or pay to renew their registration. This way, the library does not have to process every payment during an in-person visit, and readers can complete their payments from anywhere.
The payment gateway is also useful for pre-registering new readers. If the library has this feature enabled, a registration fee can be generated directly during registration in the online catalog, and the reader can then pay it online via Comgate.
The integration of Tritius and Comgate is ideal for libraries that want to move some payments from the circulation desk to an online environment. They benefit from a simpler process for paying fees and completing registrations, while readers do not have to visit the library in person for every payment.
