How it works
You can get a SIM card with a data plan from Comgate for your payment terminal. Compatible devices use it to connect to the internet and communicate during payment processing. This means you don’t have to set up a separate Wi-Fi connection for each point of sale.
You can use the data connection with both portable and supported countertop terminals. A mobile signal is required for operation.
When to use it
For street vending, serving customers in an outdoor patio, or providing services at the customer’s location. It’s also useful in establishments where it’s not possible to connect the terminal to the local network.
